| Services: |
A Master Plumbing License covers unlimited plumbing work including sanitary drainage, water supply and storm drainage.
A Journeyman Plumbing license covers unlimited plumbing work including sanitary drainage, water supply, and storm drainage while under the supervision of a Master Plumber. |

To apply for a license, please contact the Vermont Department of Public Safety at 1-802-7561.
- Master license fee is $100
- Journeyman license fee is $70

| Reciprocity: |
Reciprocity is considered on a case by case basis. |
| Continuing Education: |
8 hours of continuing education are required per renewal. 2 of the hours must include code review. |
| Exam: |
- After you have been approved to take the exam, contact ICC at 1-877-782-3926.
- The master exam has 105 questions and a time limit of 4 hours.
- The journeyman exam has 75 questions and a time limit of 3 hours.
- Topics on both examinations include plumbing fixtures, plumbing fundamentals, traps, cleanouts, drainage, vents, water distribution, plan and analysis, and local amendments.
